Robert Pines is Chairman of kgb, which he co-founded in 1992. Robert has directed the growth of kgb from five employees at its launch to more than 7,000 employees today, worldwide. He is based in New York City.
Before founding kgb, Robert worked at Lehman Brothers in the investment banking department and at the management consulting firm Corporate Decisions, Inc., which is now part of Mercer Consulting.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, cum laude, from Harvard College and an MBA with honors from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
David Cautin is the Chief Executive Officer for kgb, where he is responsible for setting the strategy and overseeing the operations of all kgb businesses worldwide, except for kgb deals. Based in New York, he joined the company in 2011.
With 15 years of experience in developing, acquiring and growing consumer online businesses, David is the former Senior Vice President & Chief Digital Officer of NYSE Euronext, where he conceived and implemented the global digital strategy. Prior, David was Chief Marketing Officer at TrueSlant.com, a venture-backed online news network. Previously, he was Senior Vice President & General Manager for Revolution Money, a payment network subsequently sold to American Express. Additionally, David has held executive positions at America Online, most recently as Vice President of Strategy & Business Development.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree, magna cum laude, from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Brian Harrison is the Chief Executive Officer for kgbdeals, where he is responsible for the strategic direction of the kgbdeals business in the US, UK, France and Italy. He is the former Chief Executive Officer for kgbdeals UK, as well as the former Chief Executive Officer of The Number UK Ltd, which included 118118, 118118 Media and the launch of kgbdeals. Based in London, he joined the company in 2009.
Previously, Brian was the Digital Director for the Telegraph Media Group where he was responsible for digital business within the newspaper group. Prior to that role, Brian was the UK Managing Director at Empathy Marketing, a specialist online retailer and rewards business, and General Manager, Digital, for Thomson Directories.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with honors from Nottingham University.
Christine Baumeister is the Global Chief Operating Officer at kgb, where she oversees the global operational management, performance and marketing of kgb’s retail and digital directory assistance brands and services, and wholesale customer care. She joined the company in 1996 and is based in Bethlehem, PA.
Over the past 15 years at kgb, Christine has held a variety of leadership positions in new market development, new product development and technology. Most recently, she served as the Global Chief Technology Officer, which was responsible for network operations and infrastructure, application and network architecture, and software development. Prior to serving as Global Chief Technology Officer, Christine was the Director of European Affairs, France, Switzerland and Austria, where she supported the launch of branded directory assistance services in the deregulating markets of France and Italy.
Christine holds an MBA degree from Villanova University.
Robert Wolcott is the Chief Financial Officer at kgb, where he is responsible for overseeing the global financial functions including accounting, treasury, tax, business planning and analysis, and audit. Based in New York City, he joined the company in 2008 as kgb’s Vice President and Global Treasurer, and was appointed Acting Chief Financial Officer in 2009 and Chief Financial Officer in 2010.
Robert is a Certified Public Accountant with an extensive background in international finance, having served as a corporate officer in both public and private companies. In addition to telecommunications, he has experience working with companies in the consumer products, luxury retail, pharmaceutical and technology industries. Prior to joining kgb, he served as Vice President of Tax and Treasury of Photronics, Inc., and Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Sotheby’s Holdings.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarkson University and an MBA from Pace University.
Kevin Gaugush is the Chief People Officer for kgb, where he is responsible for developing and implementing human resources-related processes, practices and programs, as well as the purchasing, facilities and security for the company’s global operations. He joined the Company in 2007 and is based in New York City.
Prior to joining kgb, Kevin spent eight years at ARAMARK, where he served in various HR roles, including Vice President, Human Resources, Sports & Entertainment; Vice President, Human Resources, Facility Services and Education; and Senior Director, Human Resources, Uniform Services. Before ARAMARK, Kevin spent five years at Honeywell, formerly AlliedSignal.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Jennifer Nellany is the Global General Counsel and Secretary for kgb, where she is responsible for leading the legal and regulatory team across the global business. She joined the company in 2009 and is based in New York City.
Prior to joining kgb, Jennifer was Special Counsel in the corporate department at the law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, LLP. Additionally, she has served as the General Counsel and Secretary for Morgans Hotel Group Co. (MHG). While at MHG, Jennifer was responsible for all aspects of the global legal function, including securities compliance and managing various hotel-related transactions, including the company’s acquisition of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Earlier in her career, she served as a Senior Tax Consultant in the tax department of Deloitte & Touche in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Delaware, a J.D. with Tax Honors from Rutgers University School of Law, and an L.L.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law.
Ken Kharbanda is the Senior Vice President for Corporate Development at kgb, where he is responsible for all aspects of business development and M&A. He joined the company in 2010 and is based in New York City.
Ken offers broad executive management experience from his 20-year career. Prior to kgb and kgbdeals, he was Head of Corporate Development at AOL, and engaged in virtually every aspect of the Internet to help business units define and execute their strategies regarding partnerships, in-house builds and acquisitions. Previously, Ken was Head of Strategy and Corporate Development for Telcordia Technologies, a $1B revenue-generating infrastructure software and services provider to major telecom operators globally. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at Vantagepoint Venture Partners where he co-led the wireless sector and helped build numerous technology and Internet startups. Prior to venture capital, Ken worked on Wall Street, where he completed numerous IPOs and started his career as a consultant at Bain & Company.
